Schema markup

Structured data, usually written in JSON-LD, that labels your content type so search engines can parse it precisely.

Schema markup uses the shared Schema.org vocabulary to tell search engines exactly what a page represents — that this is a Product with a price, or an Article with an author and publish date. Beyond rich results, it feeds knowledge panels and helps AI-driven answers cite your content accurately, so it's increasingly about being understood, not just being decorated. Start with the types that map to your actual pages rather than marking up everything, and keep the markup in sync when the visible content changes.
