Technical SEOwarning
Missing XML sitemap
What this check looks for
Checks whether an XML sitemap exists (commonly at /sitemap.xml) and is referenced from robots.txt.
Why it matters
An XML sitemap lists the URLs you want indexed and helps search engines discover pages that internal linking might miss, which matters most for large or newer sites. It also lets you communicate the canonical URL and last-modified date for each page. Submitting the sitemap in Google Search Console and linking it from robots.txt speeds up discovery and recrawling.
