Why it matters
The title tag is one of the strongest on-page relevance signals and is the clickable headline in search results, browser tabs, and social shares. A page with no title forces Google to invent one from the URL or on-page text, which rarely reads well and hurts rankings and clicks. Every indexable page needs a unique, descriptive title.
